Since inception some 16 years ago, by Allah's (SWT) grace, the Islamic Burial Council has grown. The Islamic . Burial Council decided that it was time for us to acquire all Muslim cemeteries within the Metro Council. PLEASE CONSULT YOUR BURIAL ORGANISATION BEFORE SETTING TIMES FOR A JANAZAH

There are various factors that affect the time setting of a Janazah. Family's of deceased are to take the following into consideration :
  1. Salaah times
  2. Mortuary cases
  3. Bodies transported from one location to another
  4. Saturday morning burials
  5. Johannesburg Central Traffic after 3 in the afternoon.

Times of mayyits over the last few weeks have been sent out and then changed because of non consultation.
